[1]	does not necessarily indicate certified compatibility. Instead it indicates that you can use this version of Reference Manager with the specified version of Word. In some cases (see note 5), it may be necessary to manually install the Reference Manager tools into the word processor. Absence of a star in the table above indicates that this version of Reference Manager is not compatible with the specified word processor.

[2]	If you are running Word 8.5, then we recommend you install the free update to v8.51. Click here for details.

[3]	If you are running Word 9.0, then we recommend you install the free update to v9.5. Click here for details.

[4]	Reference Manager's Cite-While-You-Write features do not function with Word 95, v6.01c.

[5]	While these versions of Reference Manager were not originally designed to work with Word 2000, XP or 2003, you should be able to use the programs together if you manually install the CWYW tools. Click here for instructions.

[6]	Click here to download an update that will install the CWYW tools for Reference Manager v9.5 into Word XP and/or WordPerfect 10.

[7]	Changes introduced in Service Pack 5 of WordPerfect 8 (Build 8.0.0.611) caused an incompatibility with Reference Manager v8.5x. Contact our technical support department for assistance.

[8]	Reference Manager 11.01 is compatible with WordPerfect v12. The 11.01 update for Reference Manager v11.0 users is available here.
