How Reference Update Works:
  1. ISI creates Reference Update issues from journal contents.
  2. You receive weekly issues in one of two ways; via diskette or via the Internet.
  3. Load your weekly issue onto your computer.
  4. Search your weekly issue for articles of interest to you.
    Create and save search strategies. Use convenient browse lists of words, authors, and journal names to create search strategies quickly.
  5. Review your retrieval results. 
    Reference Update highlights the retrieval in each reference, including embedded terms.
  6. View the abstract.
    Abstracts are available with the Deluxe Abstract Edition. View the abstract instantly on-screen.
  7. Output references of interest.
    Automatically print author reprint request cards on special postcards available from AMPL Software. Generate listings and order articles from document delivery services.
  8. Export to Bibliographic Software.
    Selected references may be exported directly into your Reference Manager database or ProCite database (sold separately).
